About Me

As a result of physical issues precluding me from holding a full time job, I turned to my creative side in hopes of finding something that I could do that I might some day be able to generate an income from. I have always enjoyed making things with my hands since I was a little girl, and since jewelry is something that most all of us enjoy, I thought I can make something pretty, with my hands that people would enjoy wearing and would maybe even help them feel good, or lift their spirits.

My mom paid for my first silversmithing classes with Rita Marie Ross, Silversmith/Metal Sculptor of Austin, Texas. She has instilled in me a drive that has led me down the path of creating my own style, in sterling silver, copper, brass and gold. I love incorporating beads, found objects and semi-precious and precious stones in my designs. Each piece is unique and one of a kind so you will have the only one!

I am enjoying returning to class with Rita from time to time to learn new things, regain my motivation, be inspired by Rita and others in her classes and just enjoy the friendships that making jewelry has brought to my life. It has helped me through some of my difficult times to have this outlet and I hope that it will inspire others to create as well.
